Fergus Gerrand Fergus Gerrand is a percussionist, drummer, programmer and backing vocalist with many years of experience at the highest level of popular music. He is accomplished in working with both acoustic and/or electronic instruments. Fergus performs all over the world, playing live with artists such as Duran Duran, Cathy Dennis, David Guetta, Donna Summer, Morcheeba/Skye, Adam F, Take That, East 17, Bryan Adams, Robert Plant, Human League, Sting, Vanessa Mae, All Saints, Vasko Vassilev, Spice Girls, Whitesnake, Hank Marvin, Martina Topley-Bird, William Orbit and Mike Oldfield.

His recording credits include Madonna, Sting, Peter Gabriel and Katie Melua.

Fergus is featured in many adverts and on music for TV and film including sessions for Adidas, Coca-Cola, Firestone tyres, Harley-Davidson, Religion clothing, Smirnoff, Johnny Walker, Levi’s, Sol beer, Virgin, Channel 4, Sky, Disney Channel, Doctor Who and The Hustle (BBC series).

 

As a truly original artist, he thrives on participating in new musical adventures to create and experiment across every genre and mix of styles.

 

Fergus is also a highly respected teacher at the Institute of Contemporary Performance and a mentor professor at the Covent Garden Soloists Academy.
